A waterproof membrane is sandwiched between the outer layer of the gloves and the lining for extra protection against moisture. The cuffs have a long ribbed sleeve to prevent cold air from escaping between the sleeve and the jacket. Feedback on the gloves is that they are comfortable - the fingers are not too thick, ensuring a good grip even during active winter activities.
